Have You Replaced Your Roof Recently?
If you have had your roof replaced recently be sure to let your agent know. You would think since the insurance company paid to have your roof replaced they would update your homeowners policy to reflect the new roof age, but they don’t. Call your agent or company to advise them what date your roof was last replaced. This can have a significant effect on your rates. If you have Nationwide homeowners insurance you should also let your agent or company know if you have replaced your furnace or AC unit as these items also have an effect on the annual premium.
